Hologram Technology Brings 2011 Katy Perry Back to Life

Katy Perry is back, singing and dancing across the stage as if she never grew old.

Five years after she turned 26, Perry fans can once again experience the singer-entertainer's live performances as she appeared during her California Dreams tour of 2011, thanks to a holographic technology called Kyralix.

Based on a Victorian-era light projection system, Kyralix can produce a stunning range of visual effects that, in addition to reanimating the young and beautiful Katy Perry, has been used to bring Frank Sinatra back to life and make Susan Boyle not so ugly.

"I think its great not only for the fans but for the artists as well," Kyralix inventor Robert Madden remarked. "With this technology, our favorite pop-stars might go on making music well into their thirties, perhaps even longer."

Indeed, concert ticket sales for the holographic versions of Katy Perry, Britney Spears and the less ugly Susan Boyle have been far outpacing those of their living counterparts, suggesting the future is bright for Kyralix.

Remarked one Perry fan: "I saw Katy a couple of years ago, and I'd totally see her hologram now. Probably not her in real life, though. She's like my grandma's age."
