Si Senor Voted Phoenix's Best for Tacos, Back Alley Abortions

PHOENIX, AZ - A recent survey in the Phoenix Reader named hole-in-the-wall Si Senor the city's top spot for back alley abortions and tacos.

The mom and pop one-stop-shop at the corner of 34th Avenue and Lincoln has been a hot spot for locals and out-of-towners alike looking to indulge in inexpensive, flavorful Mexican food and/or terminate their unwanted pregnancies since their opening in 1995.

"It's a little on the grungy side, but that's true of most of the best Mexican restaurants and abortion clinics," remarked Si Senor patron Melanie Weeks, "Any place with actual waiters, nurses or sterilized equipment is usually not very good."

Though Weeks rarely visits Si Senor for their abortion services, she says she eats there at least once a week.

"Their al pastor is incredible. They carve it off the spit and its super tangy and super cheap," she said, "And I've only had one abortion at Si Senor, but I'd definitely go back if I get pregnant again. You can get hosed out and a breakfast burrito for like, twenty bucks. They also have horchata."

Other Si Senor fans cite additional reasons for their patronage.

"It's a good place to meet loose chicks," said Jason Bowen of Tempe.

Still, the survey's results weren't devoid of controversy as many respondents insist that Miguel's Tacos y Abortos, a lunch and obstetrics truck that stops at 10th Street and Sage between noon and 2pm, is hands-down the best in town.
