Lori Loughlin to Star in New Lifetime Reality Series: "The Wrong Applicant"

Lori Loughlin has signed on with the Lifetime Network to appear in a new reality program that will document the actress' story of perseverence in the face of the ongoing college admissions scandal that continues to swirl around her and her family.

Tentatively titled "The Wrong Applicant", the program will also reportedly highlight the drama unfolding within the Loughlin home after Lori takes in a handsome yet dangerous lodger to occupy her daughter's room in the weeks following Olivia Jade moving away.

"Lonely and in need of the extra income, Lori has invited Jacob Morris, an aspiring young photographer, to rent her daughter's room. But will Jacob prove to be part of the solution or will his secret past take Loughlin's problems to a level she never could have imagined, where her and her family's very lives could be at risk? Tune in to Lifetime Thursdays at 9 starting May 23rd to find out," Loughlin's publicist Georgia Diaz remarked.

According to public records and a Lifetime webpage created to promote the show, the real-life Jacob Morris, cast to play himself, has an extensive criminal record and a history of mental institutionalization.

"In addition to being incarcerated in a psychiatric hospital for 16 months, Jacob has been convicted of several crimes, including domestic assault, criminal trespassing, assault, aggravated assault, stalking and lewd behavior," Lifetime Vice President of Marketing Tim Larsen boasted.

Asked about the show during an appearance at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Loughlin said that she was, "Very excited."
