15 Year-Old Girl Wanted For Stalking Middle-Aged Men On My-Space.com

A fifteen year-old California girl is being sought in connection with crimes she allegedly committed using the popular website MySpace.com, including several counts of sexual misconduct and fraud against at least seven middle-aged men residing in the Sacramento area, state officials report.

According to police, the girl, operating under the alias of Sweet15, first contacted the men through their MySpace accounts, then, using a combination of shame, blackmail and free golf outings, NASCAR tickets and power tools as bait, defrauded her victims for over $20,000 worth of clothes, beer and cash.

“Sweet15 started sending me messages in August,” recounted one of her victims, a 42 year-old father of three, “She said she just happened across my MySpace page and noticed an uncanny resemblance between my picture and her dad who’d just passed away in a hot air balloon accident. I felt a bit sorry for her and we corresponded for a while until one day she offered to take me out for a round of golf – her treat. I was a bit apprehensive, but ultimately agreed after a lot of reassurances. When we finished our nine holes and were in my car, she began to try and seduce me sexually, and when I refused she produced several photos of us together an accomplice must have taken and threatened that if I didn’t do as she said she would make up the story herself and email the photos of us together to all my MySpace friends and let them decide for themselves who was telling the truth. So I complied, but that only got me in deeper as she saved the undergarments she wore as evidence. Before I knew it, I was footing the bill for four thousand dollars worth of shopping sprees and teenage beer parties.”

Shortly after Sweet15’s first victim’s story was reported publicly, several other men came forward with similar tales, underscoring how integral the element of shame was to her scam.

Disclosed another victim: “She took me to a Kings game and the next thing I know I’m buying her a moped. I felt trapped. I wanted to tell someone, but I was so embarrassed. Later she made me buy her eight tickets for a Nickelback concert and wouldn’t let me go with. That’s when I finally said, ‘enough’.”

The wanted criminal known as Sweet15 is likely from the Sacramento area and likely frequents a high school and one or more shopping malls within the city. Members of the public with any information regarding her true identity or whereabouts are urged to call 1-800-U-SNITCH
