Revenge Porn Bans Depriving Wronged Exes Viable Means of Revenge

New laws banning the online posting of intimate photos or videos taken without the subject's consent are depriving their distributors of a viable means of retribution, many say.

Sometimes called "revenge porn," the practice of embarrassing an ex with naked pictures or videos of them having sex has long been an unactionable means of getting back at women for being bitches, but perhaps for not much longer.

"These new laws are a classic case of blaming the real victim, which in these cases is almost invariably an aggrieved man," Attorney Dan Washerman remarked, "The idea that these women should be permitted to breach their contracts with their male partners, break their hearts, then start slutting it up all over town without consequence is a travesty of justice and a violation of my clients' First Amendment Rights."

Revenge porn purveyor Jarret Roberts pointed out other flaws inherent to the new laws.

"If a guy can't secretly place video cameras in his ex-girlfriend's house to tape her (making love with) her new boyfriend, what can he do?" he submitted, "Maybe he could kill her pet. Or chop her up with an ax."

One self-proclaimed victim of revenge porn conceded that she would prefer to have the nude photos of her stay online than be chopped up with an ax.
