New "Smart Gun" Able to Determine Whether Target Deserves to Die

A "Smart Gun" capable of identifying whether a person poses a true threat to its carrier could drastically reduce the number of accidental gun-related deaths in the US and around the world, its manufacturer Houser Firearms says.

"Through imaging, the gun can create a near-instant profile of its target, integrating such characteristics as height, skin pigmentation and facial geometry to override a trigger pull," company spokesman Dave Houser said of the stunning new safety feature.

"The technology is precise enough to distinguish between a child and a midget, for example," Houser added. "Or between a white person with a tan and a light skinned black."

Inspired by personal misfortunes that saw him incarcerated for over 11 years of his life, Houser says a full range of "smart" semi and fully automatic firearms will soon take all the fear out of gun ownership.

"Guns are great, but let's face it – they do come with a certain amount of risk," he remarked. "Like when you're a little drunk and fooling around shooting out the window at your wife taking down the laundry."
