Man Protesting Death of Man Beaten to Death by Police Beaten to Death by Police

FULLERTON, CA - A man who was protesting the death of a man who was beaten to death in an altercation with Fullerton Police was beaten to death outside of Fullerton Police Headquarters yesterday afternoon.

Randy Rodgers, 39, had been silently picketing the station for approximately ten minutes when several officers emerged from the building, tazed him, and began beating him with their clubs and Rodgers' own sign for over an hour, according to one witness.

"It was at least an hour, because I saw it start, and they were still going after I got through with my errands and grabbed some lunch," recounted Britney Reese of Placentia.

Reese was later discovered by police bludgeoned to death outside her apartment building.

28 year-old Clay Foster, the mentally challenged individual whose beating death Rodgers was protesting at the time of his fatal beating, had reportedly been detained by police for creating a disturbance outside a Rite-Aid drug store on Maplewood and Adams Blvd. Monday afternoon.

"Well, it sounds like the man was breaking the law," remarked Fullerton resident Linda Bartlett. "I'm not saying he deserved to be killed, but he also shouldn't have been creating that disturbance."
