Police: Serial Rapist "Obviously Not Too Picky"
The rape of the middle-aged Barker, who police described as "not much to look at", has compelled authorities to stress to the public that all women in the area need to be vigilant rather than just those who are at least marginally attractive. "This guy isn't too picky, that's for sure," remarked Lincoln Sheriff Daniel Murphy, "No woman looks her best after being raped, but these ladies have definitely seen better days, and I suspect even those days weren't so hot." A witness who saw Deborah Smith at Bailey's Bar and Grill shortly before she became the rapist's third victim corroborated the Sheriff's assessment. "I seen her after six or seven beers, and no way I'd (have sex with) that (woman) even if I'd ten more," said the man. Lincoln Mayor Dennis Garvey said he hoped that photos of the four victims published in today's Lincoln Examiner would convey to female residents that being fat, ugly or old will not protect them from this particular predator. "As frustrating as it may be for those who count not having to worry about getting raped as the one upside to being entirely lacking of any sex appeal, I'm afraid that isn't the case here," Garvey stated, adding: "This guy's one sick puppy." |
